A senior British security source has told The Times that they were aware of the allegations but said that they were “untrue and one of the many myths that have grown up around Khan”.
So the short answer to the question of whether any UK officals or politicians will resign is: "No!"
...but the question was phrased conditionally. Are they so shameless as not to resign, if it proves to be true?
They will find a way of making someone junior take the flack.
As an aside, who at ministerial level is responsible for intelligence? Defence, Home Office, Prime Minister?
